Dr. Harold Lancer, M.D

The man behind the legendary Lancer Glow is Dr. Harold Lancer, the son of Austrian immigrants who grew up in a farmhouse located in a rural town in Connecticut. At the age of 7, he suffered severe burns over 10% of his body after falling into a vat of near boiling water. While the recovery process was painful and tedious, this experience greatly influenced his clear belief in restoration instead of alteration as the most effective way to obtain beautiful skin.

Dr. Lancer’s work ethic, integrity, approach, and results make him one of the most sought-out dermatology professionals in the world. He and his tireless staff provide individualized treatment to as many as 50 to 60 patients every day—including the most beautiful and glamorous celebrities in the world.

Dr. Lancer is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is affiliated with Cedars- Sinai Medical Center—Los Angeles and UCLA Medical Center. He is a graduate of Brandeis and earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. He finished his dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School and completed a plastic surgery program at the Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv, followed by clinics in London at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology. He holds board certification in dermatology and has been in private practice in Beverly Hills for more than 30 years

The pillar of Dr. Lancer’s distinguished practice is his belief: that beautiful skin is a 2-way street. Illuminated, radiant skin is as contingent upon the patient’s dedication to a regimen as it is on in-office procedures. The outcome of his conviction is The Lancer Method, the unrivaled anti- aging regimen that fuses potent formulations with opulent textures to reveal a more youthful, beautiful appearance. The full Lancer Skincare line, once only available to patients, is now carried in prestige retailers around the globe and online.

We all need a bit of help at some time in our busy hectic life,(even if it’s just from a book). Self-help books can be the key that opens your whole world up to new possibilities. Feel like you don’t have time for these types of books? Set a goal to read one a month, or join a book club that focuses on reading and discussing self-help books. Or better yet, start your own book club. We have we’ve curated the best self-help books on the market right now for you to add to your bookshelf.

1. YOU ARE A BADASS -By Jen SinceroWell, the name should send a message already. This is the type of book that gives a more in-depth definition of the, “if you believe it, it will happen” juju thing but in a more modern way. In this refreshingly blunt how-to guide, Sincero, serves up 27 bite-sized chapters full of hilariously inspiring stories, life-changing insights, easy exercises and the occasional swear word. https://jensincero.com/

BurnsThis book explains the idea of people seeing the world through a lens of their own, and but simply adjusting that lens means you will be improving how you feel, and how you look at situations. 4. BRAVING THE WILDERNESS: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone –By Brené BrownThis New York Times bestseller challenges everything we think we know about cultivating true belonging in our communities, organizations, and culture. “True belonging doesn’t require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are.”Social scientist Brene Brown, PhD, LMSW, has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives–experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame, and empathy. InBraving the Wilderness,Brown redefines what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarization. With her trademark mix of research, storytelling, and honesty, Brown will again change the cultural conversation while mapping a clear path to true belonging.

5. WABI SABI FOR ARTISTS, DESIGNERS, POETS & PHILOSOPHERS -By Leonard Koren The book describes the principles of wabi-sabi, a Japanese aesthetic associated with Japanese tea ceremonies and based on the belief that true beauty comes from imperfection and incompletion, through text and photographs.”Wabi-sabi is exactly about the delicate balance between the pleasure we get from things and the pleasure we get from freedom from things.”

Blond-It’s Go To Recovery Drinks

Posted on 1 min read 65 views

H2O is the cure for every beauty, fitness and wellness must. From chapped lips to puffy
eyes to breakouts around chin to pigmentation around your mouth – there isn’t an issue
you cannot trace back to lack of hydration. But – sometimes, simple pure good ol’ plain
water doesn’t just cut it. You need something a little more potent and substantial to keep
you hydrated and energized; flush off nasty toxins; and boost up your energy levels.
Here are four popular health drinks I swear by:

1 The Lemon & Ginger Infused Water

From time immemorial, lemon and ginger infused hot water has been a cult favorite for
women. We swear by the magical effects this has on your skin, metabolism and overall
energy when you kick start your day with a steaming hot mug of this holistic au-neutral
goodness. Ginger regulates digestive system so no acne or breakouts; lemon clears
your system and enhances metabolism.

2 Coconut Water

We swear by the miraculous properties of natural coconut water on your skin, nails and
hair. Need we say more? I try to keep a bottle of coconut water handy at all times. It
packs more potassium in your body than a banana and if you’re one to drink your
calories, you better make it this one!

3 The Dandelion Tea

Have you yet tried drinking dandelion root infused water with a dash of cranberry juice?
The concoction is packed with antioxidants – the best age-resisting element to occur
naturally; keeps your liver healthy and regulates digestion.
